Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler / Mixed (short coat)

Hey there! My name is Alistair and I am sure to keep you on your feet and a smile on your face! Humans say I am high energy... they like to smile and watch me run circles around them! My favorite things to do are run and exersice with you, I also love to learn new things! I am very easy to train and always eager to please YOU!

  I know how to run next to a bicycle and I love my backpack! My foster mom lets me fill my backpack full of water bottles to water all the thirsty plants on the trails! My official job is "Plant Watering Expert". I also love my toys and I do my best when stimulated!  I have an ENDLESS supply of energy!  Foster Mom teaches me something new every day! Today I learned how to "get the door" when you hang a rope off of it! 

I like to get head scratchies and belly rubs. I know how to "sit", "speak," "high five" and "wait",  at the door. We are working on "roll over" and I'm so excited! I will ring the bell hanging from the door when I need to go out and I am also a very good boy on a leash and an outstanding guard dog!  I like to walk and trot or run on the treadmill and sometimes when I have the zoomies Foster Mom will say, "Treadmill, Alistair!" And I just jump on and start going!  (I probably have the Olympic Record for longest treadmill dog time at 40 minutes!) I love to go on adventures to the dog park. I have a blast sniffing and meeting all the new friends and playing in the water.  I should also mention I LOVE ICE!  I also love to go on car ride adventures to the cookie place (pet store) and smooshy drink place. (Starbucks for Puppy Lattes).  I like childrens too!  Sometimes I play kind of rough though so I should probably be in a home with an experienced dog family and older childrens and no kitty cats because I have a VERY strong prey drive!  I think that toys look better with no stuffing and when I get a new toy or dog bed I make it my mission to remove all the stuffing! Hahaha!  I am very responsive to your tone and volume and I do better with a calm correction.  My entropion eye surgery left me with a lot of pent up energy too so foster Mom takes me on long walkies or bike rides every day!  I think if I could go to school I would make an amazing service dog to somebody!
